Over 1,400 Romanian citizens evacuated from Israel in two days

Another 596 Romanian citizens were evacuated from Israel in the early hours of Tuesday, Report informs, citing the Romanian Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, more than 800 Romanian citizens were evacuated from Israel.
“As a result of the constant efforts of the crisis cell of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the night of October 9-10, another 596 Romanian citizens returned to the country on two flights of the state-owned Tarom company and two flights operated by private airlines,” the ministry said.
The aggravation of the situation in the Middle East began on October 7 with an attack by Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip on Israeli territory.
