No talks possible between Iran and Israel, says ambassador

Negotiations between Israel and Iran are currently impossible, Israel's ambassador to Russia Simona Halperin told Izvestia Newspaper, Report informs.
"There can be no negotiations with Iran now," he said.
In April 2024, the situation between Israel and Iran deteriorated. The Iranian consulate in Damascus was attacked by the Israeli Air Force on April 1. During the attack, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps lost five commanders and two generals.
In retaliation for Israel's attack, Tehran fired rockets and missiles at the Jewish state on April 13.
