Merz: Germany fully supports Ukraine's plans to join EU

Germany fully supports Ukraine's desire to become a member of the European Union (EU), according to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Report informs via The Guardian.
"We fully support Ukraine on its path to EU membership," Merz emphasized.
According to the chancellor, Kyiv can rely on strong international partners, including Germany.
Merz also provided information about Berlin's plans to elevate defense-industrial cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
