Luc Francis Carole says no real results on decolonization of Martinique and Guadeloupe

After the meeting at the UN, attempts were made to decolonize French Polynesia, France gave permission, but there are no real results on the decolonization of Martinique and Guadeloupe, representative of Le Parti pour la libération de la Martinique (the Party for the Liberation of Martinique, PALIMA), Luc Francis Carole told a press conference.

A conference entitled "Decolonization: A Quiet Revolution" took place at the United Nations headquarters in New York on September 22. As a result of the event, a final statement was adopted on the inclusion of French Guiana, Martinique and Guadeloupe on the UN list of countries for decolonization procedures. The event participants thanked the Baku Initiative Group and Azerbaijan for the fight against colonialism.

The international conference "Neo-colonialism: violation of human rights and injustice", organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), also opens in Baku tomorrow.

The Baku Initiative Group (BIG) was created on July 6, 2023, in Baku by participants in the conference "Complete Elimination of Colonialism" within the framework of the ministerial meeting of the Coordination Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement presided by Azerbaijan.
