Koreas hold groundbreaking ceremony for railway project

Baku. 26 December. REPORT.AZ/ South Korean officials attended a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday on a project meant to modernize North Korea's railways and roads to connect them with the South. Report informs citing the Kommersant that representatives of the two countries signed a tie and opened a pointer to the station.
A train with 100 South Korean participants, including Transport Minister Kim Hyun-mi, Minister of Unification Cho Myoung-Gyon and other officials arrived there to attend the ceremony. The delegation of the DPRK was represented by Deputy Minister of Railways Kim Yun Hek and chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification Ri Son-kwon.
