Italian PM to meet Netanyahu in Israel

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, after attending an international summit on the situation in the Gaza Strip, organized in Egypt, is going to visit Israel, Report informs via Italian media.

Meloni plans to meet with her colleague Benjamin Netanyahu.

The summit will take place on October 21. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has already confirmed his participation in the event.

In addition, the heads of several Middle Eastern and European states are expected to join them in Cairo.

According to Euractive, the event will also be attended by the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the head of the foreign policy of the European Union (EU), Josep Borrell.
