Israel summons Turkish deputy ambassador over lowered flag controversy

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Turkish deputy ambassador to express their protest after the Turkish flag was lowered to half-mast at the country's embassy in Tel Aviv.
According to Report, the move came in response to the death of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Hamas movement.
Israel's Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, took to social media to announce that he had called the Turkish Deputy
Ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to convey Israel's objection to the tribute.
Israel will not tolerate expressions of sympathy for the mourning of Ismail Haniyeh, Katz said in a post.
