IDF kills commander of Hamas's elite forces

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) published data on a military operation in the Gaza Strip, during which one of the commanders of the elite Nukhba forces was eliminated, Report informs citing the IDF press service.

According to the information, about 20 fighters of the radical Hamas movement were eliminated during the operation in the city of Khan Yunis, as well as in the Magazi region. Among them is one of the Nukhba commanders who participated in the attack on Israel on October 7.

Nukhba is an elite naval unit within the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam brigades, which are the military wing of the Hamas movement.
