German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said that on Aug. 29, he will travel to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan to discuss the situation in Afghanistan, Report informs referring to TASS.
He said that the focus will be on how Germany can help neighboring countries cope with the consequences of the changes in Afghanistan.
“It will also be about how we - the international community - will treat the new realities in Afghanistan, on what conditions we will be ready to conclude agreements with the new government,” he said in Berlin.
Maas added that he will also visit Turkey and Qatar, “which play an important role” in this matter.
