European Commission appoints new head of representation in Brussels

Thomas de Bethune has been appointed as new Head of the European Commission (EC) Representation in Brussels, Belgium, the EC announced.
According to Report, in this function, he will act as the official representative of the European Commission in Belgium under the political authority of President Ursula von der Leyen. The date of effect of his appointment will be 1 September.
