EU foreign policy chief: ‘We need an urgent way out of the conflict’ 

The High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice President of the EU Commission, Josep Borrel, met with the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Josep Borrel wrote on X, Report informs.

“In a meeting with GCCSG, we focused on how to strengthen cooperation with Gulf partners for the sake of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. We need an urgent way out of the conflict, to end human suffering, and to work towards a political solution. The EU is ready to deepen ties with the GCC,” the Vice President of the EU Commission said.
