EU FMs agree to ease sanctions against Syria

Foreign ministers from 27 EU member states have reached an agreement on a roadmap to gradually lift sanctions imposed on Syria, Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, wrote on X, Report informs.
“EU Foreign Ministers just agreed on a roadmap to ease the EU sanctions on Syria. While we aim to move fast, the lifting of sanctions can be reversed if wrong steps are taken,” reads the post.
