Border force of UK's largest airports go on strike

Employees of the largest London airports Heathrow and Gatwick, as well as airports in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff will go on strike, Report informs, citing British media.
Border guards refuse to work on Christmas Day (December 23-26) and then on New Year's Day (December 28-31), demanding higher wages amid record growth in cost of living.
Earlier it was reported that officials asked airlines to cancel up to 30% of flights during the strike period to prevent chaos over the Christmas period.
