Austrian gov't bans Russian Embassy in Vienna from participating in events

The Austrian government has banned the Russian Embassy in Vienna from participating in official events, the Russian Ambassador to Austria Dmitry Lyubinsky said, Report informs via Russian media.
“The Austrian government has shut the possibility for us to participate in any official events. We continue to actively use mechanisms to convey the Russian position on fundamental issues through diplomatic channels, and, if necessary, undertake demarches in various formats. But this cannot be called a full-fledged political dialogue,” said the ambassador.
According to him, the Russian Embassy maintains contacts with the Austrian authorities, but they are more of a formal nature.
