About 50 self-defense units were established in Israel due to the deterioration of the security situation against the background of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the increase in tension on the Lebanese-Israeli border, the Ministry of National Security said, Report informs.
The units were established, especially in the cities of Kiryat Motskin, Nahariya, Rosh Pina, and Arad.
The ministry said that the creation and training of such units is carried out within the framework of security measures, and the work is carried out under the supervision of the Israeli police.
