Milli Majlis Committee on Health prepares a new bill 'On human organs donation and transplantation'

Baku. 18 January. REPORT.AZ/ A new bill 'On human organs donation and transplantation' is being drafted in Azerbaijan, chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Health Ahliman Amiraslanov said.

Report informs that, according to Ahliman, there are some flaws in the current law: "It does not meet the modern requirements as donation and transplantology have advanced. The provisions of the earlier adopted law do not correspond the current trends. It does not reflect the transplantation of organs and tissues from a dead body, which forms the basis of donation and transplantology."
