Special forces drill in Azerbaijani exclave Nakhchivan

Special and tactical exercises were conducted in the Nakhchivan Special Army.

The commander of the Special Army, Colonel-General Karam Mustafayev, and representatives of the Turkish Armed Forces observed the military exercises of the special purposes units, in which the skills of combating terrorism were practiced.

As part of the military exercises, special forces units conducted an anti-terrorist operation with the aim of capturing a ringleader of a terrorist group, as well as detecting and destroying ammunition depots.

With air support, commandos entered the building, where the terrorists were hiding.

During the operation, the terrorists were neutralized. The ringleader of the group was captured while trying to escape.

The servicemen were awarded after the end of the military exercises.
