Khojaly hosts event to commemorate withdrawal of Russian Peacekeepers from Azerbaijan’s Karabakh

An event dedicated to the withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan is being held in Khojaly region, the correspondent of Report seconded to Khojaly informs.

High-ranking military personnel of both countries are participating in the event.

At the end of the official part of the program, a concert program will be organized by the creative staff of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and Russia.

Russian peacekeepers were temporarily stationed in the territory of Azerbaijan according to the tripartite statement signed on November 10, 2020. Later, the top leadership of both countries made a decision to evict them from the territory of Azerbaijan ahead of time.
