New television channel to start broadcasting countrywide from tomorrow

Baku. 26 November. REPORT.AZ/ “The new television channel- ARB 24 specialized on news in Azerbaijan, will broadcast countrywide from 27 November,"  Strategic Development Director of ARB media group Ismayil Hasanov said.

He said that the television channel is completely ready for launch.

The new television channel was on an internal test broadcast on November 12.

Notably, the National Television and Radio Council announced a tender for the opening of a nationwide TV channel (Baku and the 31st TV channel on the Absheron peninsula) on November 16, 2017. The winner of the competition, which lasted until December 16 that year, was "Türkel TV" LLC (ARB 24). The company was given an unlimited license for nationwide television broadcasting on the 31st TV channel.
