Participants of international conference view traces of Armenian vandalism in Aghdam - UPDATED

The participants of the international conference under the motto “Along the Middle Corridor: Geopolitics, Security, and Economy,” in which President Ilham Aliyev participated, visited several other places in the city of Aghdam, which was completely destroyed during the nearly 30-year occupation of Armenia.

Report informs that experts from Turkiye, Georgia, Pakistan, the US, Poland, Italy, and other countries first visited the Shahbulag Castle. They were informed about the history of the castle, and its photos before the Armenian occupation were shown.

They also inspected the Juma mosque, which was not completely destroyed because of having been used by the Armenian military for artillery sights. The guests were informed about the reconstruction and restoration works carried out in the mosque.

In addition, experts and researchers visited the Alley of Martyrs in Aghdam and honored the memory of the martyrs.

The participants also visited Agdam Conference Center. The fact that the center was built in less than three months, i.e. 80 days, made a deep impression on them.

In the end, a commemorative photo was taken.
