Int'l travelers visit Martyrs' Alley in Azerbaijan's Aghdam

As part of the visit to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, the delegation of the international travel club MTP (Most Traveled People) visited the Alley of Martyrs in the city of Aghdam, Report informs.

The members of the delegation were informed that the Alley of Martyrs is the burial place of Aghdam natives who died at different stages of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.

It was noted that during the Armenian occupation, the graves in the Alley of Martyrs were vandalized and desecrated: the tombstones were destroyed, the area fell into disrepair.

Restoration work is currently underway there.
