"It is time to prepare for peace, to put an end to hatred, and to build confidence, progress, and stability in the region," the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zacharie Gross said in a statement.
"In 2020, there were two military confrontations between Azerbaijan and Armenia - in July and autumn. Azerbaijan has returned seven districts adjacent to Nagorno-Karabakh and the city of Shusha. Both sides have lost many people. New forms of coexistence must be found. There will be challenges and prospects," the statement noted.
