Erdogan's spokesman: Turkish-Armenian confrontation ends in South Caucasus

"Currently, the situation in the South Caucasus is different. Armenian lobby's all efforts fizzled. In other words, the Turkey-Armenia or Turkish-Armenian conflict in the South Caucasus is coming to an end," said Turkey's presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin, Report informs, citing Haberturk.

According to him, the liberation of Karabakh and its reunification with Azerbaijan opened a new page in history.

Kalin noted that Turkey and Armenia are taking mutual steps to normalize relations. The Turkish official stressed that landlocked, economically weak, and Russian-influenced Armenia would have both political and economic benefits from normalizing relations with Turkey.

Kalin attended the annual MAS-ICNA congress and met with Turkish citizens in the US.
