“I was in Aghdam two months ago. Since then, tremendous work has been done in the city. A new road is also being built. It means that the demining process is going well here,” Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Vladislav Kanevsky said during his visit to the region on June 13.
Report informs, that the Ukrainian envoy visited Aghdam in a group of other foreign diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Kanevsky said that the city made a mixed impression on him:
“On the one hand, we see that life here will soon be restored, and on the other, I see Aghdam as a white sheet.”
The ambassador also stressed that Aghdam will again become a visiting card of Azerbaijan.
