North Korea is set to release new stamps commemorating the country’s most recent intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launch, prominently featuring Kim Jong Un’s daughter in the latest evidence of her rising profile since first appearing at the launch.
Report informs via foreign media that the girl, likely named Kim Ju Ae, appears in five of the 11 stamps to be issued Friday by Pyongyang-based Korea Stamp Corporation, according to the state-owned corporation’s website.
The stamps mark the test-firing of the Hwasong-17 in November as a demonstration of Pyongyang’s goal of bolstering “the most powerful and absolute nuclear deterrent,” according to notes accompanying the new set. Stamps show the leader and his daughter at November’s Hwasong-17 launch.
