Sub-artesian wells to supply Agdam District with drinking water

Projects for the reconstruction of water supply and sewerage systems in Agdam, Fuzuli, and Jabrayil districts will be ready in the next three months, after which construction work will begin, Report says with reference to Deputy Head of the Planning and Design Department of Azersu Jeyhun Mammadov.

According to him, work is currently underway to develop projects for the reconstruction of water supply and sewerage systems in Agdam, Fuzuli, and Jabrayil districts. Mammadov noted that the initial activity of Azersu in the liberated territories was related to the restoration of existing facilities in these areas.

"Our goal was to ensure water supply to our facilities in the liberated areas."

Last year work began on determining the source of water in Agdam District. Two exploratory wells were drilled in Agdam. According to the research results, the entire city of Aghdam will be supplied with water from sub-artesian wells.
