IRU exploring ways to make the most of the Middle Corridor 

The International Road Transport Union (IRU) is exploring ways to make the most of the Middle Corridor, given the increase in traffic between China and European countries, Umberto de Pretto, IRU Secretary General, told journalists, Report informs.

However, according to him, the corridor, which passes through Azerbaijan, is the shortest, but at the same time, the most difficult route between China and Europe: "Because the Middle Corridor requires the use of multimodal transport and passes through two seas and many countries. In addition, we have choices like North and South corridors."

The guest expressed confidence that the Middle Corridor, which will benefit Azerbaijan, will be used more efficiently. According to him, it is necessary to use existing means for the development of the corridor.
