Arif Mammadov: About 25,000 air travellers carried in April-May

We first posted information at the international level that flights to Azerbaijan are prohibited until May 31. Then we updated this data and extended the ban until July 1.
Report informs, Arif Mammadov, director of the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, stated at a briefing by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
“During this period, there were no bans on air cargo transportation; their increase amounted to 25-27%. Besides, about 25 thousand travelers were transported in April-May”, - he said.
