SOCAR Polymer increases export profit 62%

In January-April this year, SOCAR Polymer LLC exported products worth $67.2 million ( $25.7 million or 61.9% more than in January-April 2020)

Report informs, citing the May issue of the "Export Review" of the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication that in January-April 2020, SOCAR Polymer LLC transported products worth $41.5 million.

Polypropylene is produced at SOCAR Polymer's Polypropylene Plant with an annual production capacity of 184,000 tons. The plant was inaugurated on July 18, 2018, with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Italy Sergio Mattarella. Exports of polypropylene began on October 5 of the same year.
