Two Azerbaijani wrestlers became world champions

Baku. 13 October. REPORT.AZ/ At the World Championship in Riga, Azerbaijani team formed of young Sambo fighters won 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Report informs, 4 medals won in wrestling among teenagers.
Competing in the weight category of 56 kg Nariman Akhmadov won in the final over the representative of the Russian Federation Vladimir Mnatsakanyan and went up to the highest step of the podium of honor. Rashad Dunyamaliyev (52 kg) won the silver, Alish Yusifov (48 kg) and Aslan Mirzayev (87 kg) bronze medals.
At the competitions among the youth Ilkin Babazadeh (60 kg) won the gold, and Amrah Bayramov (57 kg) silver medal.
Azerbaijani wrestlers competed at the world championships= under the leadership of Yagub Abdullayev.
