International ski mountaineering competition to be held in Shahdag

An international ski mountaineering competition will be held in Shahdag on March 9–10, Report informs, citing the foreign press.

The tournament will be jointly organized by the International Ski Mountaineering Federation (ISMF), the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation, and the Shahdag Tourism Center.

About 60 athletes from 11 countries will participate in the competition.

Officials of the International Ski Mountaineering Federation, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Olympic Committee, and the Winter Sports Federation will attend the event.
