Explosions seriously damage SOCAR Energy Ukraine gas stations

As a result of explosions in the village of Berezina in the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine, serious damage was caused to two gas stations owned by the Azerbaijani company SOCAR Energy Ukraine, Report informs.
The gas stations, located on both sides of the Kyiv-Zhytomyr road, are approximately one kilometer from the village.
Local residents say that the explosions at the furniture factory and other enterprises in the village occurred unexpectedly, without prior warning signals. It is assumed that the explosions were organized by sabotage groups of the Russian army.
The manager of the gas station owned by SOCAR spoke about serious damage after the explosions
On the day of the incident, the manager of the gas station owned by SOCAR, Natalia Chernyakova, said that the wave of explosions caused significant damage to the facility, and restoration work has been ongoing for the past two days.
"It was a normal working day. There was silence outside. Then we all heard a very loud explosion. Nothing could be seen through the smoke. Everything was covered in smoke. Later we saw that everything was damaged. People were very frightened. It was around 6:00 PM. There were employees and myself on the premises. The facade of the gas station was completely destroyed, we have a lot of damaged equipment, central walls, air conditioners, microwaves were mangled, the ventilation system failed," she added.
SOCAR Energy Ukraine said that damage assessment is currently being conducted for both stations.
