Eight people were killed due to suffocation in a coal mine in Samangan province of Northern Afghanistan.
Report informs citing RIA Novosti that the due information was provided by Xinhua News Agency.
According to the agency, the incident occurred on Sunday. The miners were working on a coal mine in Dara-i-Sufi Bala, when the poisonous gas leaked inside, the agency writes, citing local official Raza Muhammad.
