Azerbaijan takes action against unlicensed plastic surgery practices

The Ministry of Health and the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan have formed a joint commission to monitor and regulate the activities of plastic surgeons with fake certificates.

Report quotes Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev as saying a criminal case has been initiated based on the facts, and the investigation is ongoing.

He stated, "The Prosecutor General's Office is taking preventive measures in collaboration with relevant authorities to ensure such incidents do not occur again. Issues in this field are being investigated, and steps are being taken to prevent their emergence in the future."
