Azerbaijan, ITU explore preparations for World Telecommunication Dev't Conference

Azerbaijan and the International Telecommunication Union have exchanged views on preparations for the World Telecommunication Development Conference, set to take place in Azerbaijan in November 2025, Report informs, referring to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan.

The discussions took place during a meeting between Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev and the Director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau at the ITU, Cosmas Zavazava, who is currently visiting Azerbaijan.

Additionally, the parties discussed cooperation issues and joint activities within the framework of COP29, an event hosted by Baku last year.
