Global COVID tally passes 455 million

The number of coronavirus cases has exceeded 455.2 million worldwide, Report informs with reference to Johns Hopkins University.
Since early 2020, over 6.03 million people have died from COVID-related health complications.
The United States, India and Brazil retain leading positions for the total number of registered cases.
To date, the US has recorded over 79.5 million cases of coronavirus infection and the COVID death toll is nearing a million.
India ranks second with almost 43 million cases of infection and over 515,800 deaths.
Brazil’s tally exceeds 29.3 million, and as of March 12, over 654,800 people have died of the viral disease in the South American country.
