Global COVID tally nears 625M

The number of people infected with coronavirus worldwide has exceeded 624.5 million, Report informs, citing John Hopkins University.

The global COVID death toll has passed 6.567 million.

Countries with more than 30 million registered cases of infections include the United States, India, France, Brazil and Germany.
