Yashar Aliyev meets with UN Secretary-General

Former Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the UN Yashar Aliyev met with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the Permanent Mission of the Azerbaijan to the UN wrote on X, Report informs.

“A farewell meeting of Ambassador Yashar Aliyev with the Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was held at the UNHQ in a warm and cordial atmosphere. The conversation underscored Ambassador Aliyev’s contributions to multilateral diplomacy and promotion of UN values, while implementing an "effective and passionate" defense of Azerbaijan’s national interests,” reads the post.
