Ukrainian MP: Azerbaijanis understand value of independence

The co-chair of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Valeriy Kolyukh has sent a congratulatory letter to the group's Azerbaijani co-chair Rufat Guliyev on the occasion of October 18 - Azerbaijan's Restoration of Independence Day, Report informs.

"Today, the people of Azerbaijan are celebrating the Day of the Restoration of Independence. The name itself suggests that Azerbaijanis understand and appreciate the value of independence. This is especially noticeable against the background of your country's recent economic and political achievements. Please accept my most sincere congratulations and best wishes," reads the congratulatory letter.
