Ukraine is ready to provide all kinds of assistance in restoring the civil infrastructure of the liberated Azerbaijani districts so that the local population can return to normal life as soon as possible, Secretary-General of the Rada of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine (RAU) Jalal Huseynov told the Eastern Europe bureau of Report.
Such a statement was made by Director of the Second Territorial Department of the Ukraine Foreign Ministry Vasyl Zvarych in response to an official letter from RAU at the request of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea Anton Korynevych.
“After the agreement reached by Azerbaijan, Armenia and the Russian Federation to end the war in Nagorno-Karabakh, the next step should be the restoration of stability and vital activity in the region, as well as the continuation of international efforts to achieve a complete settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict based on international law.
Ukraine is ready to provide all possible assistance in restoring the civil infrastructure of the affected areas so that the local population can return to normal life as soon as possible. At the same time, the Ukrainian side adheres to the position on the expediency of continuing the political and diplomatic dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the interests of establishing a lasting peace between both countries,” he added.
