Samad Seyidov: “Armenia occupied Azerbaijani lands and jabbers about democracy”

"It is the main condition to work in an environment of a dialogue, mutual respect and understanding," Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Samad Seyidov said during the summer session of the organization.

According to him, it has been achieved in Azerbaijan: "Recently, representatives of various religions have come together in Azerbaijan to discuss future projects. In my opinion, the discussions on the PACE platform should be in this form. However, we are witnessing dangerous speeches, misinformation, and distant approaches to reality. Our colleagues from Armenia did not speak about the reasons of the lack of access to foreign countries and their blockade. However, the main reason is occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijan by Armenia, ethnic cleansing in our lands. Armenia occupied Azerbaijani lands and jabbers about democracy. We must put an end to lies and act in an environment of a mutual dialogue and understanding."
