Olaf Scholz: ‘Germany is ready to support Azerbaijan and Armenia in the pursuit of peace’

The conflict should only be resolved peacefully. At the last meeting, you both assured me that the outstanding issues would be resolved amicably, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz, said at a joint press conference with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.

"Germany is ready to support both countries for necessary compromises. We are pleased with the preliminary agreement on demarcation," he noted.

The chancellor stated that Germany is ready to support Azerbaijan and Armenia in the pursuit of peace.
