New bill mandates Azerbaijani diplomats to report marriages with foreigners

A new bill titled "On Diplomatic Service" has been submitted to the Milli Majlis, Azerbaijan's parliament, which may require diplomatic service employees to notify executive authorities in advance if they intend to marry foreign citizens or stateless persons.
According to Report, in line with the proposed legislation, diplomats wishing to wed non-Azerbaijani citizens will have to inform the relevant executive authority within 10 working days of their intention.
