The resolution adopted in the French Senate against Azerbaijan has no power, Nathalie Goulet, a member of the French Senate, told Report.
"I voted against this document because, as always, I am sure that Azerbaijan is the rightful party. As usual, this resolution was adopted under the influence of the strong Armenian lobby in France," said the only member of the Senate voting against the resolution.
The senator stressed that the resolution adopted against Azerbaijan has no power: "This resolution will not have any negative impact on Azerbaijan. This document is not binding. It will not be able to change the position of the French government. In general, let's not forget that the Minsk Group, which France co-chaired, no longer exists."
