Jeyhun Bayramov: Azerbaijan first addresses neighboring and regional countries for stability and sustainability

Global problems do not appear in a day, there are fundamental issues that trigger them, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at the panel session of the 11th Global Baku Forum On War and Peace: The Return of "Realpolitik," Report informs.

Bayramov noted that the goals ahead are clearly visible: “"However, there are certain problems that must be resolved. There are currently tools for this, but they are very limited. We are witnessing a tragic escalation of events, which are fueled by the unresolved issues stemming from the Second World War. There exist influential entities with significant power and vested interests, which necessitate careful consideration and management

FM stressed that when talking about "realpolitik," it is necessary to emphasize the importance of choosing a realistic approach: "For stability and sustainability, countries should pay attention to the approaches of other neighboring countries along with their own interests. Azerbaijan's approach in this matter is that we first address the neighboring and regional countries. The region should be addressed first so that it can expand and rise to the global level,” Bayramov added.
