Envoy: Azerbaijan-UAE trade exceeded $80M in 10 months of this year

In the first ten months of this year, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the UAE exceeded $80 million, UAE Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammed Murad Al Blooshi said during an event dedicated to the UAE National Day, Report informs.
The diplomat noted that in 2023, the trade turnover between the countries, including non-oil imports, exports, and re-exports, amounted to $1.641 billion.
He emphasized that mutual visits of leaders, growth in trade, economic and cultural exchange, as well as an increase in mutual tourist trips indicate strengthening relations.
The ambassador added that in the first seven months of 2024, the number of tourists arriving from the UAE to Azerbaijan increased by 7.5% compared to the same period last year.
