Ding Tao: Relations between Azerbaijan and China are at good stage of development

Bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and China are today at a good stage of development, Ding Tao, Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of China in Azerbaijan, said during the conference on promoting culture and tourism Azerbaijan-China, according to Report.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, cooperation between the countries has always been stable, he said, noting that at the moment, this cooperation is acquiring a strategic character thanks to the leaders of the two countries.

According to Ding Tao, the Belt and Road initiative and the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route play an important role in cooperation.

Close ties between parliamentarians also play an important role, he said.

The diplomat also emphasized the high level of development of economic cooperation between the countries.
