Claudette Duhamel: 'France is occupying our coastal zones'

France occupies the coastal zones, Movement of Democrats and Environmentalists for Sovereign Martinique representative Claudette Duhamel told an international conference on "Neocolonialism: violation of human rights and injustice" held in Baku, Report informs.

According to her, the biodiversity of Martinique attracts their attention: "We cannot achieve sustainable economic development here. All they care about is making a profit. According to them, we are not human beings. Black people are no different from furniture. There is a hierarchy here."
