Botswana activist: Baku Platform to open new opportunities to combat climate change

The Global South NGO Platform will be an important tool for advancing change in the fight against climate change, activist from Botswana Natasha Tsheko said at the founding conference of the Global South NGO Platform.

"I am a climate activist and I am honored to be here today and to be part of this platform because it is driving real change," she emphasized.

According to Natasha Tsheko, she has always believed in the power of local efforts to inspire global change.

"Being here gives me the opportunity to interact with like-minded people and use the knowledge I have gained to work at home to increase resilience to climate change and promote sustainable development," the activist noted.

Natasha Tsheko added that participation in the platform is not only a chance to learn, but also an opportunity to contribute to solving global challenges: "Today is a special day for me, and I am sure that this experience will be an important step on the path to new achievements."
