Bilal Hayee: Jammu and Kashmir - world's most militarized zone today

Jammu and Kashmir is the world's most militarized zone today, Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee told a briefing, according to Report.

The ambassador noted that more than 1,000 children have suffered during the years of occupation.

He reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to a peaceful settlement of the issue of Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council.

Hayee noted that Pakistan continues to call on the international community to play its part in making a decision that takes into account the interests of the Kashmiri people, as provided for in the resolutions of the UN Security Council.
